Tucker- Windfield Circle

This was a drainage project dealing with surface water coming off the neighboring lot. Permission was given by the neighbor to pipe her downspouts into the system as they were causing much of the problem. Those downspouts and one on the property were all piped across the front of the house to empty onto the driveway and eventually into a county storm drain. A timber wall was built to protect the A/C unit, then fill dirt was added along the side of the house and graded to divert a large volume of water coming from the back yard of the neighboring lot. Finished this project today and moved on to Chastain Park to start a dry creek bed and entrance planting.

Easter Pruning in Jasper, GA

Had to work this one into my schedule-to prune Crape Myrtles (for the second year) and initiate quarterly maintenance. Had it all to myself on Easter Sunday-but was done in time to get home and cook steaks for the family.

Making Some Progress In Spite Of The Rain...

It's pretty dreary when you use a the flash on your camera to take photos in the middle of the day (bottom shot was taken around 2 pm). Today did provide a good 5 hour window to get some work done though, and I finished the retaining wall along the side of the house and the timber surround for the A/C unit-which will be filled with egg rock to keep mud from splashing on it. All in all not a bad day-steps in the back tomorrow-weather permitting;-)
