Maturing Design-

This is a house in the Briarcliff/Lakeside area that I drew the design for a couple of years ago. I was just in the neighborhood again very recently and snapped the photo. The owner requested a lot of blooming/deciduous plants so it gets a little quiet in the winter-it should explode with color in another month as the azaleas, viburnums, dogwoods, etc start to bloom-followed by oakleaf hydrangea, gardenias, hostas, wiegelia and other perennials as summer arrives. I will try to make it a point to get back by there as the seasons progress and take some more shots.

Appalachian Home Furnishings-Crape Myrtle Renovation

This is a 3 year old (very nice) furniture/accessory store in Jasper, GA. The 3 year old Crape Myrtles were killed back by severe cold 2 winters ago--they regenerated mostly from sucker growth and my goal was to re-form them into trees again. It was a pretty brutal pruning job, but I was able to get them pretty well cleaned up and ready to "start over" this summer. Before and after shots below:

Brookhaven-Plants being Installed

Getting close to completion with plants/straw going in-should have plenty of "after" photos very soon. Final walk-thru with client is this morning. Keep in mind we won't be installing the zoysia sod until Phase 2 of this job in May-so it may seem somewhat "incomplete".

Some before and after photos from a client in Oakhurst

This is a job I did the design for and the homeowner helped out with the initial cleanup and some of the planting. That's me watering in the Emerald Zoysia sod.
