Duluth-Peachtree Bluff
Started this job last Friday with Chris helping me dig the trenches for the 6" drain lines I am installing. The guys from Atlanta Landscape Materials showed up bright and early this morning with the 6" pipe, soil mix that will be used for correcting some grade issues in some beds, and 3 tons of river slick stones for use in some drainage areas and a dry creek bed. Had a pretty good day..got catch basins and a lot of the pipe in..created a nice well around one catch basin and covered it with jute mat, then stone.

Aeration & Overseeding-Fescue
It is the time of year for annual overseeding of fescue lawns here in the Atlanta area. This summer hasn't been as bad as some-fairly cool with decent rain-even still, fescue suffers from the summer heat and needs to be overseeded every late summer-fall. I did 4 yards today-and my seed preference for our area is the Rebel Supreme hybrid blend shown below.
